ACIPE recently hosted a knowledge-sharing webinar focused on innovative services designed to protect consumers from fraud, including credit history freeze and self-blocking access to credit.

During the session, participants discussed how these tools help consumers prevent unauthorized access to credit products and strengthen personal data protection amid the growing risks of digital fraud. Such services are already available at the Ukrainian Credit Bureau, Credit Bureau CIAC, Uzbekistan, and the First Credit Bureau of Kazakhstan, while CRIF Tajikistan is currently working on their development.

The discussion highlighted that the implementation of these solutions not only supports consumer protection, but also contributes to improving financial literacy and strengthening trust in the credit reporting system.
