On June 23, 2025, the Credit Information and Analytical Center, Uzbekistan, launched a new credit report called “Alternative Scoring,” introducing a broader approach to assessing borrowers’ creditworthiness beyond traditional income verification.

The new report is designed to evaluate individuals without official income by using alternative data sources, including banking card transaction history for the past 12 months, data from the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, including court-ordered and paid alimony, and utility payment records for the same period.

The service aims to provide banks and non-bank financial institutions with deeper insights into borrowers’ financial behavior and to support more efficient and practical credit assessment tools in Uzbekistan.
